Santos wets himself on campaign trail

http://www.mediaite.com/tv/colombian-president-seems-to-wet-himself-during-campaign-speech/

A video appeared on YouTube showing Colombia’s President, Juan Manuel Santos, apparently wetting himself while on re-election campaign in the north of the country.
The video was shot in the Caribbean coastal city of Barranquilla where Santos performed before thousands of supporters at the beginning of the race towards the May 25 election.

Two-thirds into his speech, Santos’ apparent accident became visible as a wet patch in the groin area grows bigger and bigger.

In spite of the incident, the president continued his speech.

unless it's something understandable like a bad prostate or bladder surgery or something. Yikes.

5. It was a shock to see some news sources actually carrying this story.

It's been a long time since we saw decent journalism.

This was surely something the man had no control over, whatsoever. It would be a health issue, and so low-rent for people to whoop it up about it.

Sad.

I would hope most of the human race in Colombia would see this for what it is, a health-related problem, and concentrate on whether they like the guy as President or not.

6. This "news" speaks far worse of those who seize the opportunity to mock

this poor man for a moment which would have shamed and mortified him beyond endurance.

Says far more about the poorly bred mockers who publicly ridicule him, imagining they have everyone else laughing and mocking along with them, than it says about the man with a physical problem.

How cruel and crude, and stupid it was for idiots watching not to step forward and give him a jacket or something to wrap around his waist after whispering to him why it was needed.
