Teachers reporting deficiencies in school text books (Spanish)

http://www.eluniversal.com/caracas/130919/reportan-fallas-de-contenido-en-coleccion-bicentenaria

Ven government text books are full of partisan content and lack relevant information. Almost no exercises and everything is associated with politics. One book of 150 or 200 pages covers physics, chemistry, and biology. One page on DNA. In the 6th grade mathematics instead of exercises at the end of the chapters there are sections that relate, for example, the origin of Mercal (the food subsidy mission).

academics. How else to cement the 'glorious bolivarian revolution'. I anxiously await the announcement that all schoolchildren must wear a red scarf as part of their school uniform. You could call them the 'young Chavistas' or 'Bolivarian Pioneers'.
