Pancho the Pelican arrived on Magela Guerrero's doorstep in 2011, after being discovered sickly and weak near a Havana seawall. He's now a neighborhood fixture, walking alongside his adopted "mom" and delighting passers-by. (Sept. 6)

It looks like he's on his own in the video but I suppose he usually is on a leash.

From the article I read the other day. Birds do that, bond with care providers, that is.
I think it's a great story. And I hope he remains safe, too.
