Maduro accuses US of sabotage plot

Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro has claimed the White House is plotting the "collapse" of his government next month by sabotaging food, electricity and fuel supplies.

"I have data about a meeting at the White House, the full names of those who attended. I know what plans they made for the total collapse" of the country, Maduro said on Saturday during a ceremony in northern Aragua state.

"They think that Venezuela will collapse in October, so long as they plan for it by sabotaging the people's food, electricity, fuel and refineries."

In recent months, the Venezuelan government has made several allegations about conspiracies against it and plots to kill Maduro, who even stated that Washington wanted to kill him at the same time that it carried out a possible attack on Syria.

"It costs to be the boss" and when the US still gets blamed for all of the problems is it time to cut the water off. Maduro needs to step up to the plate and fix his problems himself.

He is a moron who can't tell a Cuban flag from a Puerto Rican one, he's allowed inflation to continue unabated, he can't keep basic supplies like flour and buttwipe on the shelves, the black market rules, and no one has to "sabotage" anything--just let that moron keep running things. He is as stupid as a box of rocks.

I wouldn't be surprised if he's a victim of a coup....not from the right, but from Chavez's old buddy, Diosdado Cabello...

The only person who thinks "Washington" gives a shit about Maduro is Maduro. He's driving HIMSELF off the cliff, all by HIMSELF. Idiot!

I think Cabello planned this from the beginning - let clown boy take the fall for the eventual fuck up and collapse of the economy and then Diosdado (with the Army's support) can come in and 'save the Patria'. I hope Maduro isn't making any long-term plans.

their vibrant "coup" days. It's obvious from the images that they had a history and liked one another.

All Diosdado has got to do is pluck a few nostalgic strings, wave the flag, show pictures of himself with Young and Vibrant Hugo, and, with promises of chickens, arepa flour and toilet paper, he will be vaulted to power.

He'll have to crack down on the boligarchs, though, and tell them they can't steal it ALL--they've got to leave a few crumbs for the peasants so they'll think they're getting a good deal. He's in a better position to do that than Maduro is--I don't think anyone listens to that idiot.

If this does happen, I wonder how the conspiracy theorists will try to twist reality to somehow put Cabello in the pocket of the See Aye Eh? It's a foregone conclusion that someone will try....!

send Idiot Boy packing this whole board will light up with every conceivable (and every non-conceivable) reason why it's all the USA's fault. It was the CIA, Alvaro Uribe, the Illuminati, the Bilderberg Group and the New World Order, all working on the US's behest to finally undermine and destroy the 'glorious Bolivarian Revolution'.

With Nicolas at the helm, the Chavista regime has been completely cornered. If Diosdado or any other high-ranking Chavista official executes a coup, then it would mean a total collapse of chavismo, and "La Revolución Bolivariana" would all but lose steam completely. Most people who support the government (blindly, I should say) are only doing so because Maduro was the one who was designated by Chávez, so they'll follow El Comandante's last dying wish to their last breath. And obviously those people wouldn't be too happy with anyone else as president, even Cabello, simply because Saint Hugo didn't pick anyone else but Nico to carry on in his place. So now it seems that all the other Chavista leaders are simply salvaging what they can out of the Venezuelan people's pockets while they still can as they await the inevitable and total collapse of Venezuela under Maduro's rule, and then when the shit finally hits the fans, they'll take all their assets out of the country and flee to Cuba or any other place that offers them asylum, because, let's face it, when the people finally realize just how badly they got screwed by these scumbags, Venezuela is the last place Maduro and company wanna be.

I've already seen a copy of the warm-up speech by Toady Number One!

Fellow Bolivarian Revolutionaries, you know as well as I do that el Commandante would NEVER, EVER--no, not in a million years--stand by while you had no chicken for your pot, no flour for your arepas, no minutes for your cellphone, and no buttwipe to wipe your Bolivarian asses!! You KNOW this!!!!

El Commandante, in his waning days, while the balance of his mind was disturbed, was tricked into giving the power over to Maduro, who persuaded him to sign documents while he was under the influence of sedating drugs. (Play video of Cuban doctor saying "Yeah, he went in there all the time with his briefcase, even when we told him the guy was out of it").

Everyone knows that his plan was, in fact, to turn power over to his old Army right-hand, Diosdado Cabello (Cut to video of Fidel or Raul, saying "I was shocked when I heard Maduro had been chosen--Hugo always told me his heart was with Diosdado, that only he understood the revolution, and that the bus driver was just a place holder given the VP job out of a sense of familiarity and the fact that he was capable of simple tasks and following orders, not because he was especially talented as a leader. Yes, Maduro was at the height of his abilities in the second slot--he should not have been promoted to leadership." )

But Maduro--the viper in the Bolivarian nest--stole the legacy of the Commandante, and may have even hastened his death. After all, Maduro never served in the Army, he never wore the uniform with the Commandante...he does not UNDERSTAND!!! He was not THERE!!!!!!

People of Venezuela, it is time to restore the rightful Bolivarian heir to leadership--and of course, we will have elections in due time, etc., etc.... And now, without further ado, let me introduce El Nuevo Commandante, the heir to the Chavez legacy...the one, the only....the lustrous, exciting, dynamic Diosdado Cabello! Give him a big hand, peeps!!!!

I'm joking...but only just....

11. Maduro is backed by the Cubans

The reason why Diosdado Cabello and the Venezuelan military haven't made a ove to dethrone Maduro is the Cuban presence in Venezuela. The Cubans have had many years to establish a very sophisticated eavesdropping and spy network. They have material to blackmail politicians, especially the Chavistas who are so prone to corruption and theft. And they have the agents in place to take action and kill plotters if they start getting serious. This Maduro's main support comes from the Cuban dictatorship. And this is why we see Maduro travel so much...he goes to Cuba for instructions in short side trips as he moves around. Why meet in Cuba? Because the Cubans think they have tight and secure sites to hold these discussions. What the Cubans don't know is whether the USA has deep moles but can't use the information, because if it does then the Cubans would know there's a breach.

Maduro is an infantile liar. In these circumstances, if he's aware such a meeting took place, he evidently received the information via a Cuban mole. Somebody like the Ice Queen. The revelation would put the USA security apparatus on its toes and the mole would likely be uncovered. This tells me the tale is an invention, another lie by Maduro who seems to be turning out to be a pathological liar who doesn't even care if his lies hang together or not.

Venezuela today is in chaos, inflation seems to be headed towards 40+%, and it's evident the totality of the regimen's actions are causing a lot of discontent. I wouldn't doubt there are tens of thousands of individuals each quietly putting in action their own personal resistance to the regime. This can range from actual individual acts of neglect on the job to actual sabotage. There's also the distraction factor. A professional or technical individual working in a setting which requires concentration and paying attention to details is less likely to perform well when he or she sees the country descending into hell, when they have to live with power cuts, lack of water, food scarcity, high crime rates, and the stress of living in a lawless society. People under such stress don't work very well.

I think the Cubans who pull Maduro's strings failed to realize when they made their plans that Venezuela was a much more sophisticated country than Cuba. It is more modern, has much better infrastructure...and this requires a lot more attention. The ongoing emigration of qualified professionals and technical personnel also hurts destroy capability-they can't be replaced by Cubans. And the tendency to name supervisors who are chavistas and not necessarily qualified for the job adds another layer of problems on top.

Finally, there's the problem Venezuela faces paying its bills. Outside companies and contractors are not offering their services because they realize Venezuela doesn't pay. Right ow there's a major crisis brewing because Schlumberger, the largest provider of sophisticated oilfield services, is owed nearly $1 billion USD and the government isn't paying. I heard Schlumberger is starting to make plans to pull employees out of the country. And this will likely deal the oil production sector a heavy blow.
