Peru Hosts Multilateral Meeting Of Military Justice

LIMA, July 18 (BERNAMA-NNN-ANDINA) -- The Multilateral Meeting of Military Justice is taking place in Peruvian capital Lima with the participation of the most important members of Military Justice of Peru, Chile, Colombia and the United States.

The gathering seeks to consolidate the experience of previous international meetings and bilateral work in the field of situational analysis and the development of proposals to strengthen the statute basis of military justice as a tool that supports the peace and security at national, regional and global levels.

The multilateral meeting is also aimed at developing a work plan to define and propose shared principles and standard classification of crimes in order to optimise the application of military justice in accordance with international law standards.

The event takes place from July 16 to 19 under the slogan: Shared principles for military justice in the service of security and peace.
