Ladies and gentlemen…the president of Venezuela, NICOLAS MADURO:



That’s Chavecito’s daughter, María Gabriela, helping National Assembly president Diosdado Cabello put the sash on her dad’s successor. It’s now official, legal, signed, sealed and delivered. And frankly, nobody cares what those xx's at the State Dept. think.

The president of Argentina, Cristina Fernández, gives María Gabriela a hug. Cristina’s had some grief of her own to deal with, what with the sudden death of her husband, former president Néstor Kirchner, last year. So she knows exactly what Chavecito’s family are going through. And it’s a way for her to pay back the comfort and affection Chavecito gave her in her hour of need, too.

Naaman's been playing a little game and I'm actually quite happy he just showed everyone his true colors. I've actually pdf'd the conversation for future reference and am going to ignore his posts from now on because his childish responses and snide dishonesty are a waste of time.

because he knew when he wrote that, that it was a lie. And if he didn't, he damn sure did after I clearly pointed it out and he persisted and threw in his little insult. The people whose opinions matter already know what to think of my integrity. Naaman doesn't have the capability to change that. What he just did was clearly prove that he has no more integrity than his candidate who was ready to burn his country down rather than be deprived of his birthright. This is actually a fitting outcome and it relieves me of any need to be cordial to him. I'm actually quite pleased lol. But I love you.

The OP doesn't actually clarify that not one bit of its content is their own, but rather someone else's blog (which has been spammed here frequently), verbatim. Also, one tends to stop reading links and writing when something so blatant sticks out. I know I myself will stop reading something if I know for a fact its objectively untrue. naaman could've done that and not clicked the ambiguous link (had it said "Source:" at the minimum, this derailment wouldn't be happening).

Yet the person you are so faithfully defending refused to acknowledge they were wrong and persisted with their accusations about OP's integrity in post #5.

Anyone with even an ounce of integrity left would have apologised immediately.

And I do not attribute to malice what can be attributed to stupidity. After the first exchange (where the OP says, "it's a linked article&quot I would've gone over the post. naaman should have done that. Clearly though it's not apparent that the OP posted the blog post verbatim. You have to follow the link to know that, and if you spotted something totally false, you might not follow the link. I'm familiar with people posting articles without distinguishing their comments or the article comments (in this case the OP had no comments, it was entirely someone elses article).

14. It was meaningful seeing María Gabriela step over to take part on the Presidential sash

her own father had worn with such pride. I'm sure there were tears in a lot of eyes of people who watched the ceremony.

Cristina was the one, the only one the daughters called to come to their father's bedside at the end. It's evidence of the trust and love they bear for her, and her value to the whole family. I'm sure their friendship will help them all heal together.

And it WAS a sudden death when Nestor Kirchner, without warning, died swiftly and no one, no one at all had any idea this was coming. It was a shock which would have leveled a weak person, but Cristina somehow found the way to keep on moving and functioning, carrying out her duties.

She has earned the respect of many, regardless of the war which has been waged upon her by the Argentinian fascists still remaining from the military dictatorship and its cronies, and corporatists all over the world. People of character will always respect Christina, just as they do Hugo Chavez.

happy with the redistributionist policies and expropriations of the Chavistas. Or maybe it's the reported decline in infrastructure.

I wish him luck. I see a lot of analogies to our own polarized society. It's a recipe for gridlock, like we have here. You can't have two equal halves of a society calling each other treasonous bastards.
