Sen. Bill Nelson (I -Idiot) gives US flag to dissident blogger Yoani - nice optics

Jose Marti is rolling over in his grave since his life was dedicated to saving Cuba and its identity from the gigante in El Norte Since when do we hand out US flags to visitors?

http://cambiosencuba.blogspot.com/2013/04/la-bloguera-mercenaria-yoani-sanchez.html

The picture was taken during a ceremony held at the Freedom Tower in Miami where the blogger gave another title from cover to The Miami Herald: "Yoani Sanchez calls the unity of Cubans on and off the island"

According to the Journal of the mafia, under repeated waves of applause from about 800 people-finally-came his followers lost mercenary blogger, said:

"Without you we are not complete. There is no you and us. There is only one us.

where some DU'ers posted, used to follow Bill Nelson around, bringing signs protesting the U.S. abuse of Cuba.
The poster said it didn't take long before he started recognizing her in the crowd, even mentioned to her he identified her from before as a protestor of our national posture on Cuba.

It has looked as if almost all US Congressmen from Florida have felt compelled to support the "exiles" hateful war on Cuba all this time. It could be something as simple as they want at all costs to feel they don't need to worry about finding out too late about a charge of C-4 being attached to their cars because someone got too mad about their Cuba politics.

Jeez, looks as if Nelson has become putty in the hands of the C.A.N.F. What a shame.

of other citizens to be proud of their own history and people. I think nationalism is really what underlies the Cuban revolution, the other labels are less important historically. So after finally fighting off Uncle Sam their dissident is identified by receiving the US flag, doh. I guess Nelson has been at it for a while, at least it was only the Florida pols and the usual mafia that met with Yoani. They brought her back to the US from Europe early to attempt to have her meet Obama, but the admin said no, we can only hope Obama too smart to get caught up in that mess

They have a long history of sponsoring terrorism both in Cuba, and around the world, including right here.

It would never be right to identify ANYONE from the Democratic Party with that bunch of criminals, the same ones who are currently O.K. with Yoanni.

Anyone but a Florida Democratic Congress member, apparently. Even Debbie Wasserman Schultz sold out to them long long ago, when she worked with Mario Diaz-Balart in the Florida House of Representatives.

Who can forget Senator Bob Graham, and his unfortunate whoring for the CANF?

I doubt this is going to change, either, until the Cuban population is finally diluted enough in South America, by the infusion of people from other places, and they lose their grip over Florida's politics and the huge number of Florida Presidential electors every Presidential candidate will always sell his/her soul to get.

So she would have no problem receiving the flag of any country.

The question is whether she'll take it back when she flies to Cuba.

Surely she'll think twice about that.

I'm not clear on your post. Are you stating that Yoni Sanchez was regularly around Bill Nelson?

I've not heard tha before.

We have a Florida resident/poster who used to follow Bill Nelson around.

The poster says it didn't take long before he(the poster) started recognizing "her" in the crowd.

He (the poster) even went so far as to mention to the unknown "her" that he (the poster) saw "her" from before.

So my question is, who is "her"? Is it Yoani Sanchez?

He, being Bill Nelson, and her, being the activist forum poster.

Yoani hadn't set foot in the US to my knowledge until this trip. Unless during her flight to Switzerland she stayed in the US for a time. (In any event if she did land in the US during that trip, for a layover or whatever, she was not politically active at the time. Perhaps that's when she was made a CIA stooge or something.)

This would be quite an interesting conspiracy theory. Yoani has been back in Cuba since 2004.
