New Quinnipiac Poll of NY: HRC: 53% BS: 40%

With a 65 – 28 percent lead among black voters, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton tops
Sen. Bernie Sanders of Vermont 53 – 40 percent among New York State likely Democratic
primary voters, according to a Quinnipiac University poll released today.

“Black voters matter for Secretary Hillary Clinton in the New York Democratic
primary,” said Quinnipiac University Poll Assistant Director Maurice Carroll.
“She leads Sen. Bernie Sanders in many New York demographic groups except the
young folks and very liberal voters, but it’s a huge lead among black voters that gives her a
comfortable double-digit margin.”
“Gender counts, too. New York women like the idea of nominating the first woman
president.

There are some gaps among New York likely Democratic primary voters as voters 18 to 44 years old back Sanders over Clinton 55 – 36 percent, while older voters back Clinton.
Self-described “very liberal” Democrats back Sanders 55 – 41 percent, while Clinton takes “somewhat liberal” and “moderate to conservative” Democrats.
She leads 55 – 38 percent among women, while men are divided, with 48 percent for Clinton and 43 percent for Sanders, shrinking the gender gap which appears in Quinnipiac University surveys in other states.
White voters are divided, with 50 percent for Clinton and 45 percent for Sanders.

White voters are divided, with 50 percent for Clinton and 45 percent for Sanders.
Clinton leads 53 – 37 percent in New York City and 55 – 40 percent in the suburbs. Upstate Democrats are divided with 50 percent for Clinton and 46 percent for Sanders.

I know she has 2 million votes and Bernie draws huge crowds but not sure about this?

are frantically running around the office trying to figure out how to cancel that Vatican trip?

I just saw that Bernie was outspending her 2 to 1 in NY.

(Now I'm just going to need De Blasio and Bill to take a nice 2 week long vacation until Hillary sews up the NY,PA,MD primaries)

Which explains the 2-to-1 spending in NY. Devine's April check will break $1 million, I'm certain of it.

This weekend, I caught a round table of political commentators discussing the NY primary. While they basically said they'd rather be Hillary than St Bernard entering the primary, all tipped to the Quinnipiac poll of New York for a definitive picture of the race.

And now we have it--Hillary with a double digit lead. Which aligns with other polls taken recently.

kind of surprise twist and make things competitive somehow. Instead, Sanders tripped himself up because you can't run for President with both feet stuck in your mouth!

with all the undecideds moving to Bernie and Hillary only winning by +6.

Since Bernie needs a fourteen point spread in his favor in every single state, even 53% Sanders to 47% Clinton doesn't help him enough--and that will not happen.
