HILLARY GROUP announces "HILLARY OFFICIALLY WINS MISSOURI"

On the Democratic side, the former secretary of state also led Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders also by 0.2 percentage points — 49.6 percent to his 49.4. Each candidate will receive 34 delegates, but with superdelegates included, Clinton will have 46.

34x2 = 68.

538 has the delegate split as 36 Clinton, 35 Sanders, for a clear Clinton win by any metric you wish to choose.

Huzzah!

Counting ALL delegates, Hillary 46 - Bernie 34.

That is actually a victory - just like Wyoming, Hillary 11 - Bernie 7! http://www.thegreenpapers.com/P16/WY-D

Yes, Clinton got 49.6% and Sanders got 49.4%. BUT, only the candidates with 15% or more of the votes are considered. All other votes are disregarded when calculating the delegates.

In this case, Clinton received 50.1% while Sanders received 49.8%. Those percentages are used to determine the delegates for the at-large and PLEO delegates. There were 15 at-large delegates resulting in a 8-7 split. At the PLEO level the split is a 5-4 split. In both cases, Hillary receives the majority.

The remaining 47 delegates are determined at their respective congressional district level of which there are 8 districts.

From The Green Papers

Tuesday 15 March 2016: 71 of 84 delegates to the Democratic National Convention are pledged to presidential contenders based on the results of the voting in today's Missouri Presidential Primary. A mandatory 15 percent threshold is required in order for a presidential contender to be allocated National Convention delegates at either the congressional district or statewide level. How the Democratic Proportional Delegate Allocation Math works.

47 district delegates are to be allocated proportionally to presidential contenders based on the primary results in each of the State's 8 congressional districts.
In addition, 24 delegates are to be allocated to presidential contenders based on the primary vote statewide.

These posts are wrong in that you can not vary the results of the primary under the Delegate Selection Plan for Missouri
