Was in Brooklyn Heights canvassing today. HRC ROOM

This neighborhood is very divided. I was in mostly apartment buildings and many people put their signs for Hillary and Bernie on their apartment doors. I have to say this area was divided and I actually got pushback from some Bernie supporters. But the local residents and HRC workers were telling me they think the area will go 50/50.

Ran into several kids canvassing for Sanders and they were very sweet. We talked for a bit. Their main concern is that many of their supporters in northwest Brooklyn that are new registered as independents. But they still have a big base of support in this area but so does Hillary.

Northwest Brooklyn is the trendy areas. I am hearing Williamsburg is not as solid for Bernie as I thought because the Hasidic Jewish community there is trending for Hillary. Park Slope will be Bernie central in Brooklyn but all the neighborhoods south, east and northeast of Prospect Park will trend Hillary. He may have been born here but he won't win here.

"I am hearing Williamsburg is not as solid for Bernie as I thought."

I'm totally shocked! That's good to know, though. I didn't realize the Jewish community was still so large.

I moved there 25 years ago and lived there for 12 years. I imagined, if I still lived there today, I would be a total freak.
