http://www.dailykos.com/stories/2016/4/8/1512507/-Obama-to-the-Berniacs-Do-not-become-the-Tea-PartyA cheer for our president Obama ....my option Bernie is with the Tea Party in someway
The Hill reports that "President Obama on Thursday warned Democrats against adopting a Tea Party mentality that could lead to deep divisions within the party and harm its chances of winning national elections." Link
This is an obvious reference to Bernie Sanders and his supporters, for several reasons.
1) Timing: Sanders just created a controversy by calling Hillary Clinton unqualified to be president. Since the President obviously believes her to be qualified, Obama had a big problem with Sanders' comment.
2) Obama referenced those who have been pushing for single payer. I.e. Bernie et. Al.
3) Obama scolded those who call other democrats corrupt. Hillary hasn't gone there. Bernie has.
And that anybody who suggests there is another point of view ... well, then you must be a sellout or you must be corrupted or you must be on the take or what have you," he added. "That is not, I think, useful.

It's too pervasive to ignore.
BS made it so the President came out yesterday and said Hillary was very qualified to be POTUS.
"The White House Just Took Hillary Clinton's Side in Her Latest Fight with Bernie Sanders"
I saw that and was thinking about doing an OP about it.. it's big news!
snip//
The White House came to the defense of Democratic presidential frontrunner Hillary Clinton on Thursday, one day after rival Bernie Sanders charged that the former secretary of state is "not qualified" to serve as president.
Speaking to reporters aboard Air Force One as President Barack Obama flew to Chicago, deputy press secretary Eric Schultz said that contra Sanders, Obama sees his 2008 primary opponent as a qualified successor.
Clinton "comes to the race with more experience than any non-vice president" in recent history, Schultz said, according to a pool report.
Schultz added that Obama was "fortunate" that Clinton agreed to become his chief diplomat after the two bitterly sparred during the 2008 primaries.

(9,145 posts)And used the Tea Party as an example of a "revolution" that could accomplish things when your POTUS is a Democrat.
