Hillary Clinton
Related: About this forumSanders is on MSNBC doubling down on the lies.
Said the HRC campaign said it was attempting to "disqualify" him, as quoted on CNN, and reiterating his comments about her qualifications.
Kornacki: "He's standing by his remarks..."

(11,586 posts)I really believe he has fantasized about leading a revolution. He went (as a lowly mayor many years ago) to meet Ortega and Castro. Ortega met him, but he was rebuffed by Castro who let some low-level underling shake his hand and get rid of him. Why would he have done this? To me, this is demonstrative of what has driven him all along. It also helps explain why he has been so standoffish with Congressional colleagues, and why he has always held a it's-my-way-or-the-highway type of attitude. He is above everyone else in his own mind.
He really, really, really wants this win, and at this point is getting desperate.

(5,624 posts)quoted CNN and a story about someone in clinton camp said they were going to disqualify him.......yada yada.....

(6,444 posts)or dividing it or destroying it, Whatever projection they said yesterday.
Everything coming from him and his campaign about HRC and her campaign seems to be just PROJECTIONS!
WEIRD!

(11,586 posts)The first time I ever paid any attention to him was after the Sanders camp theft of Clinton campaign data. Sanders started to indicate that he was sorry for the actions of his staff (though not sorry enough--nor did he admit how high-level that "staff" actually was) and then Weaver took over, as far as the media was concerned. He was aggressive and hostile. he set the new tone of the campaign right there.

(11,417 posts)So he went from running a positive campaign to a full on negative campaign. I think this will destroy him. He is the leader of a lying, bullying group of malcontents. His campaign is reaping what it has sown.

(55,894 posts)Demonizing Wall St. and harassing your opponent for transcripts of speeches she gave legally as a private citizen and which are her intellectual property and have NOTHING to do with legitimate campaigning is not positive.
Positive campaigns don't create demons and straw men to whack away on using empty rhetoric.
He has been a demagogue from the start and demagogues are not positive.

(6,444 posts)Think they are all acting paranoid.
BUT also think they wanted to change the conversation to TAKE ATTENTION AWAY FROM NYDN INTERVIEW FIASCO!!!!!!!
KewlKat
(5,624 posts)Clinton camp needs to move away from this NOW.....the awful things he's said about her qualifications will be replayed over and over in the obsessive media...........so....get the message back to NYDN interview, or Sandy Hook gun fiasco.....or something else, etc.

(70,242 posts)this from gd-p. (to a sanders fan). Anyway.......it was a contrast for the world to see.
34. yes, I just heard Bernie double down on his crazy remarks. Shame on Him. He had an opportunity
to do what is right. But he did not.
While Sanders was up at his podium sounding bitter --
Hillary was shining and thoughtful on the streets of NY just now.
What a contrast for the viewers to see.

(15,369 posts)indeed despicable - especially Devine's disingenuousness about SDs when he himself was an instigator of the concept. But the buck stops with Bernie.
And yes, it's always the victim card. Had Bernie actually lost WI, there would have been a great outcry about WI's voter ID law, etc.
I personally think that there should be an outcry about that fricking law and a lot of other things that reek to high heaven about WI. But that is not because Hillary lost. It is the general principle.
For Bernie & Co, it's only when they lose that a stink is created. Do you believe for a moment that they would have been upset about the situation in AZ (an outrageous situation, I agree) had Bernie won? I certainly don't.

(12,265 posts)The honeymoon will be over if he somehow, wins the nomination. We can all write the ads, likening him to a communist (the masses don't understand democratic socialism). They will trot out what this will cost in taxes and scare the crap out of the middle class voters. He has proven that he doesn't handle negativity very well. He has weaknesses he and his followers refuse to acknowledge. He doesn't have the intellect of Hillary. I like him and will vote for the nominee, but after yesterday's diatribe I will do so with little enthusiasm.
