Hillary Clinton
Related: About this forumLet's go Hillary!
I used to be on the fence (as some of my older posts have detailed). Then a few weeks ago I moved to support Hillary, but I still respected Bernie Sanders.
Well not anymore. Calling Sec of State Hillary Clinton unqualified is very disgraceful, but it shows a common theme in his campaign of just name calling and diminishing everyone who doesn't agree with you as "not being good enough"
Also I laughed at his comment as it comes from a guy who couldn't even answer simply policy questions. After being in public office 30+ years you would think he would have taken the time to figure out if his plans were even feasible or not.
Instead its Bernie who needs to answer- what have YOU accomplished? Standing up and giving the same old speech for 30 years isn't doing anything (well helping coauthor 3 bills in 25 years is such a huge accomplishment- wow what a man! and I guess one of his achievements would be to protect the gun companies. that's cool)
Now we are in the part of the campaign where Bernie and his folks are starting to use republican style tactics to try to bring our candidate down (the one who was you know actually part of the Democratic Party. and then this guy has the nerve to act like he represents the democratic party). They already follow the repubs tactics of just shutting down any pundit or pollster who doesn't show their candidate in good light. And they tbh are closet republicans in my opinion- saying stuff like "Bernie or bust" and not caring if other democrat candidates win (like in Wisconsin where 15% didn't even bother to vote for democrat judge) is a shame.
These people could care less if Trump and Cruz win and take away basic rights from minorities, women, LGBT community, etc. because you know revolution is all that matters (in their privileged little life)
To all Hillary Supporters- let's dig deep and make sure that Hillary Clinton is the candidate for our party! Donate, volunteer, defend her on FB posts- do whatever you can to help her campaign.
She is the one who can win and has helped our party across the nation (not the guy who didn't even like democrats until now when he can use them for his own convenience)

(305 posts)then my mom and dad switched to Hillary.....then my sister....and now yesterday my grandmother was like "this guy needs to get out of the way of someone who actually did something" haha
That's 5 votes from the Cane4Dems family coming your way Hillary. Thanks Bernie for pushing all of us into Hillary's camp with your disgraceful tactics and smugness

(15,369 posts)Although one of my grandsons - a Bernie supporter - is not as "scorched earth" as the True Believers, he doesn't seem to see the irony in that he currently has the luxury to able to support Bernie financially and otherwise because his grandfather and I worked hard ALL our lives and used the same banking and financial system decried by so many wisely to ensure that he himself has so far never had to incur the kinds of student debts that we did.

(305 posts)it makes me sad to see how Bernie supporters really don't give a shit about those who could be disenfranchised. For them to not be able to grasp the concept that Hillary (or any democratic party person for that matter besides Bernie who still uses words like "ghetto" will be 100x better than rethugs candidate to defend our rights is outright scary.
Their lack of "empathy" is what makes me think they are mostly closet republicans because a TRUE democrat would never just sweep such large populations under the rug and be like "oh well my nonsensical revolution is what matters"

(30,058 posts)important. He has been in Congress for twenty five years, I expect more from a Congressman of twenty five years.
Walk away
(9,494 posts)This guy is sitting on committees that require a knowledge of finance. Should we let people like Bernie sit on committees???? I think the Democratic party needs to reassess giving this man a say in the Senate. He should just have his one vote.

(2,792 posts)He appeared to have forgotten much of what he used to know. That doesn't seem to fit his former usual grasp of information and ability to think on his feet. The interview was a lot like a job interview, and he kept drawing blanks. What went wrong? Fatigue? Sleeplessness? Or something more severe? I hate to suggest this, but what about possible early signs of dementia?

(30,058 posts)About function. It is scary he has made decisions which affect so many lives and then explains some excuse as to why he did orvdid not differently.
