The problem is large numbers of conservatives are registered as independent in CA.

California is semi-closed. Independents can vote, but Repubs, Greens, etc. can't. nt

iv'e lived here over 35 years and never really knew the primary rules, i don't recall voting in a presidential one that did maybe this will be the year i hope not.
