Just in, the Clinton campaign has just announced the that "the gloves are off"

Just announced on CNN, it is time to oust Bernie from the campaign and they will worry about unifying the party later. Translation: Look for Hillary to come out swinging from now until Bernie is out of his butt.

But the Democratic talking heads on CNN don't believe it.

My humble opinion: I think that with the gaffes Sanders has committed in the last few days kill him in he NY media. I don't think that you will see a lot of negative ads against Bernie, but look for Hillary to attack Bernie as much as he has been attacking her here lately in her speeches, rallies and the upcoming NY debate.

We'll see.

like he has in the past--at least until he trips up and then Hillary has him play defensive while he tries to turn the narrative back against her. While he struggles to do this he points his finger at her and gets really, really rude and agitated. Then his supporters will say he won.

fumble by the Sanders campaign, on top of the NYTimes pre-post-mortem on them. The real question is how diligently the media pursues some of the issues raised about the Sanders candidacy in the past few days.

Then again, I suspect the "win" in WI could wipe some of that away, at least temporarily. Ugh, 2 long weeks to NY. It will probably get tougher before it gets any easier.

I love it when Hillary punches back, but I'm not sure if the voters do.
I think the gloves are off will mean that their will be harder contrast ads. They really need to hit the gun issue hard, counter Sander's "deep south" claims and bring up his past statements regarding Obama and the democrats. A full onslaught for the next 2 weeks would be great and should sew up NY for her.

get her backers from the Congressional Black Caucus on the trail reminding super delegates that switching over to Sanders would be nullifying the voice of millions of African American voters who have voted in wide margins against him.

No more open primaries and just two small caucus states.

Today, after spending 2.3-1 in WI, Sanders didn't even break even on the delegate deficit.

Bernie's a likable guy, although his negative attacks on her have alienated him from us Hillary supporters. Hillary has not done the same and looking at her congratulatory tweet on Wisconsin, her campaign has no intention of doing the same.

When people actually see the cost of his policy proposals, they will flee. I think you're right Cajun, he has seriously damaged himself in the NY media market.

You said, "When people actually see the cost of his policy proposals, they will flee."

I don't think so. My reasoning is that Sanders's supporters don't seem to be realistic people to me. They are college students and young who want free college or for someone to do away with their college debt. The rest are the dreamers and true believers and socialists of the far left. For both camps this is their once in a lifetime candidate and his core believers don't care what his programs will cost.

Sander's does better in the open primaries, independents. Most independents take a mile high view of politics and wait for the media to articulate policies for them. This group, who've largely supported Sander's has no idea just how much he will raise their taxes fro what he's proposing.
