Ann's daughter, Cecile: This is sort of the pinnacle of everything we’ve fought for all our lives

The scene in Kathleen Falk's living room on Saturday was a veritable who's who of Democratic women in Madison.

State and county elected officials, doctors, lawyers and political aficionados gathered at the former Dane County executive and two-time gubernatorial candidate's home to hear Planned Parenthood CEO Cecile Richards speak in support of Hillary Clinton.

Planned Parenthood, in its first-ever presidential primary endorsement, is backing the former secretary of state over Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders. Richards was in Madison over the weekend working to energize supporters and voters to support Clinton in Wisconsin's April 5 primary election.

"This is the big one," Richards said. "This is a woman who has been standing for women her entire life."

Commending women who serve as elected officials, Richards said, it's still not easy to be a woman in office.

"This is sort of the pinnacle of everything we’ve fought for all our lives," she said.

This is what we have been fighting for.

Thank you, Cecile Richards, for taking the time to educate and thank you, Planned Parenthood, for an excellent endorsement!

Lovely photograph, also. Thanks, Rose Siding!

during all of her Career. Yes, to his credit--Bernie has voted for the bills concerning women--but this issue is not in the forefront for him. This is what so many of his supporters do not understand--and made this so evident with their snarks and nasty comments--when PP endorsed her.
**Also--Tammy Baldwin--Sen. of WI spoke of this during her introduction yesterday.

EAU CLAIRE -- Democratic presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton made a campaign stop in Eau Claire on Saturday, April 2nd.

During the event, U.S. Senator Tammy Baldwin was also there -- she introduced Clinton to the crowd as the "next president of the United States."

"I so admired the fact that Hillary Clinton, right out of law school, took on the task of organizing parents, parents of children with disabilities, to make sure their children had the same equal educational opportunities. And that fight for children has never stopped. As First Lady, she pushed through and laid the foundation for the children's health insurance program. She also used that platform to put women's rights on the global stage when she said in Beijing, that women's rights are human rights and human rights are women's rights," said Baldwin.Baldwin

Hillary then spoke to the excited crowd. .....................
