Once again, a large number of Foreign Nationals are identified as illegally donating to Bernie Sanders’ presidential campaign. The status of these 125 individuals is admitted by the candidate’s chief fundraising committee Treasurer, Susan Jackson.
According to federal law, only U.S. citizens or legal residents are allowed to give money to U.S. candidates running for office. All others are strictly prohibited.
The revelation of foreign donors is included in a report filed on 31 March by the Bernie 2016 committee and signed off on by Jackson.

This is the second time the committee has been cited for this campaign finance violation. It admitted to receiving illegal donations from 106 foreign donors during 2015.
