http://www.dailykos.com/story/2016/3/25/1506344/-The-Closed-Primaries-in-April-will-be-the-end-of-Bernie-s-CampaignBeginning in mid-April, theres 6 Closed Primaries in a row with a total of 442 delegates at stake. With Bernies track record in Closed Primaries, I dont know how anyone can say that he has a good chance of winning a single one of them. The media, for good reason, likes to look at each states demographic makeup as a way to predict support for each candidate. That certainly worked in the South with Hillarys dominance among African Americans in even open primaries. But I barely see anyone in the media mentioning Hillarys dominance among Registered Democrats, her key to victory going forward. The Closed Primaries in April will be the end of the road for Bernie.
We can all hope so....

(2,034 posts)that black voters are not feeling the bern and you post proof to back your argument up, they just go all off the rails and call you all kinds of names. When I see them doing that, I block them, period.

(30,058 posts)Only registered Democrats can vote. Currently she is only 650 delegates away from the needed delegates to secure the nomination with the first vote at the convention. There are still undeclared SD's and my thinking is by the time of the thinking they will endorse Hillary and she will have a commanding lead of delegates.

(4,640 posts)I am so sick and tired of "Dems for a Day" voting in OUR primaries. It needs to stop.

(30,058 posts)from the five state sweep. Hillary is doing great, gaining delegates and upcoming primaries are in Hillary's favor. I am going to take time to celebrate again this week for the five state sweep.
