someone else's opinion or Hillary's opinion, but a few years back it was said the Supreme Court was not the kind of position she would be happy in. She doesn't need a job for one. And prefers to do jobs that require service of some sort. Just my two cents.

4. I love Hillary but she's too old (no offense intended!) for this

Since Supreme Court appointments are essentially for life, we need to appoint someone who will be on our side for *many* years who will not soon be replaced by a future (God forbid) Repug president. Thankfully Justices Sotomayor and Kagan are in their 50s.

because Hillary would have been at least the same age in 2012/2016.

11. Difference between an "old" President and an "old" Supreme Court Justice

Supreme Court has no term limit, so you want a younger Justice who can continue serving when the inevitable Repug president comes along.

And I'm in my early 60 and aches and pains have shown up that I never thought would have. For that matter, I remember thinking 30 was old!

I don't even think Hillary should consider 2016. Hopefully by then she'll have a couple grandkids and Bill will have slowed down and they can enjoy being the most popular first couple. Although I think Barack and Michelle will have that title.

political reality is a supreme needs to be on the court for at least 20-25 years.personally i`d rather see a supreme in the early 50`s so they can retire somewhere in their late 60`s mid 70`s instead in their mid 80`s to late 80`s.

anyway i think she`s not going to run for anymore offices and she`ll retire from public service and enjoy the rest of her life with her husband and daughter.

12. What would be smart would be to pick a Democrat in his/her 50s.

Then that Democrat would have a long tenure in the Court. That is what would be smart.

Hillary would make a great Federal appeals judge. That can be just as important a post as the Supreme Court.
