Hillary Clinton
Related: About this forumI am feeling more confident about
upcoming states.
Before last Tuesday I was being overly cautious about celebrating too early in her getting the nomination. Was expecting her to only win 3 of the 5 and had gotten used to the idea that this was going to be a long election cycle.
Then she took all 5 states!
Voting has consequences. My theory is, here I got more confident and energetic after last Tuesday. I believe the opposite has happened to many supporters of Sanders (or not necessarily supporters, but willing to give him a chance). Her 5 state win has had an effect on voters who may not be that involved but want to back a winner. Hillary showed the country last Tuesday that she is a winner.
To wrap this up: I believe she will do better in the remaining States.

(1,968 posts)she gets 1 of 3 (Arizona) on Tuesday, somewhere near a tie in Utah, and loses Idaho.
The delegate upshot? No change, or a slight increase for Clinton--with three more states behind us in the rearview mirror, and no advantage for Sanders.
she just might do better. Maybe not winning more States but his margin of votes will have been affected from results last week.
