(16,104 posts)And as the repeated chants of "Ber-nie" demonstrated, it was largely organized by supporters of Sanders, the Democratic presidential candidate who has struggled to win over black voters but whose revolutionary streak has excited radicals of all racial demographics.
"Remember the #TrumpRally wasn't just luck. It took organizers from dozens of organizations and thousands of people to pull off. Great work," tweeted People for Bernie, a large unofficial pro-Sanders organization founded by veterans of the Occupy movement and other leftist activists.

(40,416 posts)Neither Hillary nor Bernie are the problem. We are the solution. And whoever wins the nomination will be part of that solution.
Whatever we do, do not allow the real opposition to divide us!
We stand together; we stand tall.
As always, my best to you all.

(16,104 posts)No Democratic candidate is the enemy here.
We need to stop trying to tear each other apart and focus on the real enemy. At a rally the other day, Sanders said his campaign would not attack women. These relentless, ugly, sexist attacks on Clinton that are going on here and other places must stop. Criticize her policies and plans, but you know exactly what attacks I'm talking about. I beg sane Sanders supporters to start helping us bridge the gap. The GOP is working overtime to divide us, while the likes of Trump are on the rise. We should not be helping them.

(10,155 posts)He incites his followers and eventually disavows their more egregious bad actions all the while proclaiming his own purity. The more I see of Bernie the more I despise him and his fairy tale promises. The sanctimony and self righteousness of Sanders and the Sanders supporters repels me. He is nothing but bad news for the Democratic party.
