Why MSNBC continues to give Trump free air time.

I don't get it! Last night during the Chicago fiasco, Chris Matthew gave much time for Trump to explain his ridiculous excuses.

Why?

1. I ask myself the same thing. he gives Trump sooo much airtime.

I never see no more than 15 minutes about Clinton or Sanders on his show

2. They have been told by their manager to cut away to Trump, this is when I cut away,

I don't hear much coming from him which tells me he is a serious candidate.

3. They all give him too much time

Remember last weeks boring rambling Trump infomercial on the night of the primaries?

4. Back in the early days of TV, they used to show boxing matches.

Here's one from over the pond, where you'll see an animal being badgered mercilessly by an asshole and an idiot...but he gets his in the end!

Anyway, The Trump Show is the same kind of thing...a total train wreck, but it gets ratings, because ANYTHING COULD HAPPEN...

5. ALL the networks do, for the same reason the evening news breaks away for a car chase.

The same reason people can't NOT look at a car accident.

The Trump rallies have become a ratings bonanza spectacle. The news used to be about, well, the news. Now it is about ratings.

6. I don't have cable here, or broadband INet.

But I listen to Rachel every night MSNBC posts the audio of her broadcast.

She covers Drumpf quite a bit, but has been more or less balanced on interviewing Bernie and Hillary.

I think that Drumpf is so crazy that is news in and of itself. At least that is Rachel's take it seems.

I am not saying I like that, but it seems to be a thing. Hopefully, when things go overboard at some Drumpf rally, there will be a correction as people rebel in horror.

But who knows? Right now his ego just laps it all up.

7. All three cable "news" networks...

are live now on Trump rally.

On and on, "Throw 'em out, throw 'em out!" Many Bernie supporters - fancy that.

The M$M got what they wanted, and I bet they wouldn't mind the crazy ratings from a Trump presidency.

I wonder if they hope the coverage will let people see how bad he is, but that seems not to be working.

10. I think Chris has convinced himself he's doing damage

He tries to dig in to a subject thinking all he has to do is let the guy talk, but then he acts friendly with him. I don't think he gets he's normalizing the behavior rather than exposing it.

11. I think it is much better to keep the light on the cockroaches

than to let them multiply in the dark. The more disgusting they become, the more they turn off the middle of the road conservative like my mother's neighbor. He is a long time republican and will NOT cast a vote for trump because he has seen what has been happening both at his rally's and his campaign speeches. I don't like to see this human garbage any more than anyone else, but ignoring him is not a good idea. Sunlight is the best disinfectant.

12. Chris Matthews is blatherer and

a little like Trump. He fawns over people who agree with him and talks over the top of everyone else. He ends segments saying "you're great" or "you're a smart guy" as if it reflects on himself. Can't stand him.
