Hillary Clinton is a prohibitive favorite for the Democratic nomination in 2016. Her appeal is rooted in strong leadership, especially in her role as secretary of state. Nearly six in 10 approve of her job in the role a year and a half after departing, putting her in the same realm as other popular secretaries of state. Doubts exist — half disapprove of how she handled Benghazi.
