Great news!
In the "Hillary for Nebraska Get Out the Caucus" event, Mr. Clinton touted Hillary's experience and policies on health insurance and student debt. "What does she want to do about that? Make college tuition free in every public university in the country, in every historically black university and college in the country and every university that serves first and second generation Americans and other universities that are small with relatively modest tuition and high rates of return."

(8,760 posts)If both candidates support that....it is a win-win situation.
I felt that the part where Bill added historically black colleges was a great addition.

(8,760 posts)This was no accidental statement or gaffe by Bill. It was too detailed.
I like Bernie. However, the most important things are the policies.

(1,968 posts)but frankly...I grew up very well to do. My parents and I could (and did) afford my college education very easily, and there's no reason we shouldn't pay for it. It was a modest effort on my part.
In both candidates' cases, I want to see a plan with cost analysis, where the money's coming from, cut points for income above which the parents pay for college, and so on.
