(90,727 posts)I've not seen a single HRC supporter say the same. HRC supporters are Democrats. Don't bother to lecture me about "loyalty oaths" -- there's no loyalty oath. There's just people trying to get things done that will benefit as many others as possible.
If every time your candidate doesn't make it out of the primary process you threaten to take your marbles and go home, how will you ever get anything done at all? The answer is, you won't.
I've seen HRC supporters at DU, one after another, hold out their hands in fellowship and future reconciliation, only to be metaphorically spit on, bitch-slapped, and generally told to go to hell. I've seen more than one old timer at DU with tons of political experience on the local level trying to tell the inexperienced BS enthusiasts how it is done so that they can get where they want to go, with the same sad results.
Hey, I was one of those people myself, promising to link arms and sing kumbayah once the primaries are over. But I am tired of the toxic replies. So forgive me if I am out of patience with people who swear they will never never never work within the system because what they want to do is burn the system down and start over.
How can we "need" people who were never going to help Democrats in the first place?
All the Sanders supporters who really will be there for Democrats -- just say the word, and we'll be there for you too. Just remember: you let the ones I'm talking about speak for you for a year all over DU.

(4,451 posts)Gang stalking is a form of community mobbing and organised stalking combined. Just like you have workplace mobbing, and online mobbing, which are both fully recognised as legitimate, this is the community form.
Gang stalking is organised harassment at it's best. It the targeting of an individual for revenge, jealousy, sport, or to keep them quite, etc.

(360 posts)They are trying to get ALL of us in the Hillary group worked up so we'll get silenced with hides/time-outs.
Since Super Tuesday I've noticed in the Hillary group the Sanders gang have turned up their disrespect in a protected group because:
- They know it's over for their guy and they want to make it as miserable as possible for us.
- They know that once she clinches the nomination they will no longer be allowed to bash her so they are getting more bang for their buck.

(3,825 posts)Petulance won't win friends and influence people. When you have someone who has for years denounced the party that he is supposedly wishing to lead, has not contributed campaign monies to down ballot Democrats, and I know someone will say well DWS won't let him, I call BS on that, and we are supposed to become loyal supporters, when there has been no loyalty shown to us? You won't shut me up, you can't intimidate us. This is called Democratic Underground for a reason. I remember seeing the banner on TV during the inauguration of the pretender. I've been here a long time. My not so favorite saying from the *2000 Selection was "get over it". Would you support someone who blamed you for everything but wanted you to back his campaign, because he didn't have the resources or national visibility that he needed? You'll have to answer that question, I already did.
jsmirman
(4,507 posts)it's an act of petulance, it's an abuse of the jury system, and it's a distinct sign of authoritarian tendencies on the part of the people who participated in it.
The idea that someone can extend the octopus reach of their bullying into a PROTECTED GROUP is outrageous.
I already submitted a question via that maddening "ask the administrators" thing about stuff precisely this sort of thing. I'm sure they will get back to me at some point in December.
DISGRACE.
Every day that the people who run this site sit back like inattentive landlords/cowards is another day this site gets further destroyed from within.
WAKE UP SKINNER AND CO!
And even with this, all I want to do is unify people once we have a nominee - I have no interest in score settling when the time comes. But to see such behavior out of supposed Democrats is truly chilling.

If you can't follow the Terms of Service for DU, and the Statement of Purpose of a forum; if you can't post with basic decency, you WILL be treated in kind. The rest of Bernie's revolutionaries will eventually grow the hell up like we all have to do. They will eventually see who the real enemy is and stop trying to destroy the only viable party that can stem the tide of idiots following the latest GOP fascist.
