But the NV and SC strategies have me a little baffled coming off of essentially two "victories"..

She asks some legitimate questions. (Being persona non grata, I can't post over there.)
I DID rec it, though, and think it should be on the Greatest page.

Very interesting.

Bernie lost NV by six points.

(15,445 posts)NV was the harbinger of worse to come for Bernie.

Weird they think Devine was involved in Pres O's election. He wasn't nor was the consulting firm he's with.

(31,241 posts)come as news to PBO, who actually won his election. The same can't be said for Dukakis, Mondale, Gore(?) or Kerry. Devine has been on a serious losing streak for quite some time.

(3,248 posts)That would certainly explain the disastrous decision to distance Al Gore from Bill Clinton.
Sorry, that's one of my hobby horses. It drove me nuts at the time, and whenever I think about Gore's campaign acting as if Clinton was a deeply unpopular president who would drag the Democrats down, I still get miffed.

(15,438 posts)Clearly, he doesn't know what he's doing. Bad move by the Sanders Campaign to hire him. I guess there was no one else?

(3,248 posts)If he thinks bashing Obama and suggesting he would be better at race relations is going to help Sanders, he really hasn't learned a thing, has he?

(15,438 posts)I believe that most Blacks have heard that and showed what they thought of that last night. And I'm certain his attempt at calling for a primary challenger of President Obama hasn't won him any friends, either - except, maybe, those who don't think it's a big deal.

(879 posts)that Bernie isn't playing to win, and it's frustrating her. They continue to ignore it, but winning states doesn't matter, delegates do. And she is simply raising questions about how he can win if he abandons states resulting in blowouts like this.
Of course, the Bernie fans will say everything is going to plan, but if you lose by these margins, and barely win the states you do win, then you're not winning anything, and the writing is on the wall.
Bernie's strategy is a give up strategy, and she realized it.

(4,542 posts)Democrats are a minority. Republicans are a minority. Independents are a minority. You have to go broad to win the Presidency. And all three intermingle positions.
Bernie cleaved his minority even further. What's left is a very disappointed subset of registered Democrats. I don't believe he has the ability to go broad. He would have to alter his message he has been honing for decades.

I don't like trashing and never have. For me, it's also important to know what the competition is up to.
But, I perfectly understand your move to decrease the agro and control your BP.
