Sanders campaign forced to retract misleading fundraising email.

Columbia, South Carolina (CNN)Bernie Sanders' campaign will clarify an incorrect fundraising email they sent Tuesday morning that claimed Hillary Clinton's campaign was charging "some donors" $27,000 to attend a fundraiser in Los Angeles on Monday night.

"It's no exaggeration to say this is the most important stretch of our campaign," reads the email. "Secretary Clinton's supporters are responding: her campaign is holding at least a dozen high-dollar fundraisers this week, including one last night where some donors paid $27,000 to attend."....
According to invites, the top ticket price for the fundraiser was $2,700, the legal max for primary donations. Event hosts raised $27,000, meaning they invited enough people to the event to break that threshold.

Initially, the Sanders campaign stood by their fundraising email, with Casca tweeting a shrugging emoji next to bags of money and a picture of the event invite that notes hosts "raise $27,000."

What a sleazy low blow way to run a campaign.
Slander & lies..gee how Rovesque.

"Sanders, however, has headlined a fundraiser in Los Angeles. In October, the Vermont senator attended a reception at the Beverly Hills home of Linda and Syd Leibovitch. According to an invite, $2,700 was the top ticket price but co-hosts were asked to "raise" $10,000 per person, using the same terminology that Clinton had used for similar events.

So much for funding his campaign million$ by small $27 donors.
BTW how's the FEC Investigaion moving along?
Last I read they had just scratched the surface and already found 900 donors who gave more than the allowed $2700.

There's a reason why Sanders has his Public donor lists hidden behind sevrral tight firewalls.
While Hillary's are fully & easily accessible.

An individual giving 100 $27 donations fits into this narrative, designed specifically to appeal to, and fool, the "99 percenters". We now see, thanks to the FEC filings, that his massive base of tiny donations is not exactly how it's being portrayed.

His whole campaign is intended to be an illusion.
Bernies magic show. Sleight of hand.
This is why his donor lists are hidden behind several firewalls.
Because the lie must continue.
No other reason. Like how & why Corporations hide off shore tax free money. And hide it in a "charitable" trust in the Caymans.
So no one can see the truth of their nefarious dealings.
its simply that.

Rather than deal with the article at hand they all attack Hillary. I respect Bernie Sanders but find most of his supporters to be pretty scarey people.

First we had the data breach, then we had the culinary union snafu, now we have this email along with cries for the Iowa and Nevada results to be overturned because . . . Hillary won.

Time to stop flailing, people. Or making excuses and/or deflecting. This is the Sanders' campaign on review. In the now.

Enough already! The excuses and howling do not work.

Look at the polls; the number spread is real.

I tell you that our campaign does not do these things. My heart tells me that's true but the facts and evidence tell me it is not. This runs counter to my own beliefs, my policy and to the original strategy we had in mind. There are reasons why it happened but no excuses. It was a mistake.

Uh-huh....

The accurate number was $2,700. I guess we'll let a Republican reshape the Supreme Court and see that Court solidify Citizens United for a generation. That will only mean 100's of billions of dollars flooding our political process over the next 25 years. But, at least we know that the accurate figure for Hillary's fundraiser was a whopping $2,700.
