There isn't a shred of credibility left in the Bernie/Hillary Hate wing of the independent party.

It'll be over in a couple weeks!

Some of it's actually rather amusing. There's one thread with a few knowlegable souls trying to explain to the Bros why "one wo/man, one vote" is both a democratic and an ethical principle. (They think Republicans are entitled to more than a single vote apiece.)

I just discovered this Hillary Clinton group tonight after getting so fed up with all the personal attacks and Hillary hate there. I've been a DU member since 2001 and I have never seen it so bad. Quite a mob going on.

They DO come in here, and have shut down perfectly good posts with alerts and jury votes, but for the most part, it's a great haven from the chaos.

I thought 2008 was bad, but it was a picnic compared to this. I've trashed and untrashed GDP soooo many times lately...Everyone has been pretty kind to me in GDP, but it gets so frustrating to see all the attacks happening on good people. And also seeing all the right wing hit pieces that never would have been allowed to stand before, just makes me sick. I'm always thinking about what a new voter coming here for information and fellowship must think of this place.

I was posting not too long ago about how great DU used to be. Working together, calling our congress critters when something needed to be done...now there is so much rancor. I wish i'd been here in the beginning with you and the others! It must have been both heartbreaking, and yet exciting to grow a community after the (s)election happened. I didnt find DU until 2004.

if they had ever in their life told a lie. They are insufferable egomaniacs that think they are perfect, and life in their perfect little Bernie world where only Hillary or people who support her have ever told a lie and can admit to it. I did, I have, and don't know a person who hasn't. They live in a bubble. Honest to God, they really have become the left's Tea Party Idiots.

I have lied, cheated and done even worse in my life. I admit to it. I am very far from perfect. I am really turned off by the holier than thou in both religion and politics. The Sanders cult of perfection is life in a bubble and totally divorced from the real world.

...and didn't say much there before that point anyway.

On the up side, the more hysterical they get, the worse the situation probably is for Sanders. And the more hysterical in real life, the more they turn off voters.

So I'm not seeing the down side here.

Sanders came late to NV with a ton of baggage, but let's assume he pulls a win. It won't be much of a win, <5%, but let's run with it.

That gives him a touch of momentum for about a week, tempered by the fact that Republican crossovers will be suspected and talked about in the media.

It doesn't really matter because then he absolutely, positively gets clobbered in SC by a large, large margin. Clinton +10 would be my pessimistic floor for SC.

So much for those comeback optics. Then we move into Super Tuesday, where Clinton is favored in 9 of 12 states, reasonably competitive in 1, and definitely loses 2.

Er, what comeback optics? That's immediately followed by yet more states where Clinton is favored...

and tend to shoot numbers well under the projections (which I do tend to feel are a bit too rosy). I don't see the final delegate wins for Clinton until May or early June when California votes.

And you'll notice that even I, the pessimist, don't see a realistic path for Sanders the way things are going.

If I did, Clinton group or no (since I'm a very firm supporter of hers and have been for ages) I'd say so and see if we could crowd-source a solution for Clinton.

I noticed the site transforming into all things Bernie, I trashed GDP and that is where it shall remain. I also trashed any key word dealing with Bernie. Too bad I can't stop his name from appearing in the now trending so I don't even go to the front page.

The ones posting the same crap over and over again, I'm adding them to my ignore list until we have a nominee.

Both of the hides in one thread on Boston Bean were for what under normal circumstances would have passed as "give and take". But the Bernie Bros are out for blood. They work to silence any prominent DU'er supporting and defending Hillary against the onslaught of outrageous and venomous attacks against her.
