EAST LANSING, Michigan --- Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton continues to lead Senator Bernie Sanders among likely Democratic Party Presidential Primary voters. Clinton leads Sanders 60%-27%, a 33-point lead up from the 27-point lead she had on February 5th. Clinton remains popular among voters 50 or older. The IVR (Interactive Voice Response) automated survey of 430 likely March 2016 Michigan Democratic Presidential Primary voters was conducted by Mitchell Research & Communications February 15, 2016. The poll has a Margin of Error of + or 4.69% at the 95% level of confidence.
Hillary Clinton continues to lead Bernie Sanders by a large margin even after her defeat in New Hampshire. Her lead even increased by 4% in the recent poll on February 15th. Bernie Sanders numbers however do remain consistent in polling from February 5th, only varying by 1%. Her consistent lead puts her in a strong position to win on March 8th in Michigan, Steve Mitchell, CEO of Mitchell Research & Communications said.

Sanders leads Clinton 51% to 43% with 18-49 year olds.
Clinton leads 56%-36% with voters 50-59.
Clinton leads 62%-23% with voters 60-69.
Clinton (69%) leads Sanders (14%) with voters 70 and older
By gender:
Clinton leads with men 57%-36%.
Clinton leads with women 62%-21%.
By race:
Clinton is ahead with white voters 57%-34%.
Clinton has a huge 66%-14% lead with African-Americans.
By area:
In Detroit, Clinton leads 68%-11%.
In Wayne County outside Detroit, Clinton leads 57%-32%.
In Oakland, Clinton leads 69%-22%.
In Macomb, Clinton leads 62%-29%.
In Saginaw, Flint, Saginaw, Bay City, Midland, the Thumb, Clinton leads 59%-26%.
In Washtenaw, Monroe, Mid-Michigan, Clinton leads 63%-24%.
In West Michigan, Sanders leads 46%-42%.
In Northern MI/Upper Peninsula, Clinton leads 65%-27%.

(15,951 posts)so maybe HRC is beginning to gain ground again? I think she took a hit after NH and then her superb debate performance and appeal to voters that she is more than a one-issue candidate may be starting to resonate. Hopefully Nevada will be good tomorrow and add to any momentum.

I noted I saw a little motion toward Clinton in the last few days in some other threads, this just gets added to the pile.
I think the uterus commentary and the finger wagging aren't playing well--and people are starting to investigate his record as well, and finding it not nearly so pure as advertised.
