Hillary Clinton
Related: About this forumI had to finally pull out of GD-P.
http://www.democraticunderground.com/12511247798I can no longer see any value in posting there. I'll be working on General Election activism from now on. I will be caucusing for Hillary in Minnesota on March 1, though. Good luck to us all!

You're to be commended for that, MM.

(16,104 posts)You won't have to temper or modulate your preference for a particular candidate named Hillary Clinton in this Group!
We want to hear what you have to say - and we want to hear all about your ongoing efforts in Minnesota and beyond!
And we don't want to read all the vile bile piled on positive posting in GDP, either!
Our hosts here have zero tolerance!
Good luck with you for whatever you choose to do!

(1,771 posts)I've decided to avoid this place. There is a real negative vibe that causes me to become someone I am definitely not. I become caustic and I don't take the time to process my thoughts - I react and don't think. Not healthy.
November will be here quicker than you think. There is much to do in the real world.

(23,741 posts)Besides all it's become is someone posting a positive Bernie Op Ed and 60 other Bernie Bugs (isn't that what they all have crawling over their sig lines?) agreeing, or posting a negative Hillary piece and 100's of Bernie Bugs posting nasty and derogatory remarks about her. Not worth my time or energy. Go get 'em at the caucus.

(11,611 posts)Hard not to when something sticks in my craw. Usually I hop straight to this group, though, when here.
Best to you and your hard work--may it help us win the White House!

(31,170 posts)posting again if I wander in after someone responds to one of my older posts. I really should just stop.
It's so sad that it has become such a nasty place. I always wonder what new people who come here looking for conversation and info think, when they hit GDP.

(146,329 posts)I'm simply going to stop dealing with the primaries at all, even here. At this point, I feel like I must focus on keeping the Republicans from gaining control of all three branches of federal government, regardless of who the Democratic nominee is. I think that is going to be a tough job in 2016, so I'm starting now.
The people will decide on a nominee. I hope it's Hillary, since I think she can win more easily, but I'm moving on to the General now. There's so much to do. I just can't participate any longer in the primary infighting.
That's why I won't be shifting my posting to this group. I'll be over in GD.
Lucinda
(31,170 posts)some of it will be related to forums like GDP. It's a shame that a website with the power to have so much influence is devolving to this degree.
I've been posting to try and clear up some misconceptions, but then someone else posts the same exact issue, and it starts all over again. Spending time in there makes me feel like I'm stuck on a hamster wheel going nowhere.
You are very smart to cut the cord.

(11,495 posts)I really think that a lot of those who post the inflammatory crap are actually trying to take down DU, or take it over for their group of negative posters. I have found it amazing that so many of the "new" posters come in and their very first post as a trash and bash at Hillary. It all started with hating Obama, then it went to any Democrat that didn't see things as they do, then it went to the whole Democratic party as a whole, and now it's all about destroy Hillary Clinton, even though they are making Bernie look bad by constantly posting the same inflammatory BS over and over and over.
I have also cut way back on posting over there.
Lucinda
(31,170 posts)but I see too many long term Hillary posters getting OP's hidden just for posting facts. I hope Super Tuesday proves to be definitive and we can start to move forward towards GE preparation.
