Hillary Clinton Room Post. Hillary Clinton welcomes Sanders into the race

Hillary Clinton ✔@HillaryClinton
I agree with Bernie. Focus must be on helping America's middle class. GOP would hold them back. I welcome him to the race. –H]

Classy as always.

1. This will produce a very positive and helpful colloquy, I think.

It's all good. I wish more people here at DU could see the upside of this.

Kick and rec!

Maybe once she is the nominee it will be different.

It would also be nice if they would stop posting rw links to attack her.

Of course they won't stop.

4. Senator Sanders said some very laudatory things about her on CNN today.

He refused to trash her even when Blitzer did some goading, and he called her a friend for 25 years.

I suppose that isn't surprising--her HILLPAC donated to his Senate campaign, after all.

If you see people shopping rightwing garbage, proudly and repetitively posting rightwing links, you just have to assume that they CAME from the rightwing in order to bring that garbage over here.

It's not hard to figure them out.

And your right that some will never acknowledge the positives of Hillary.

Hillary first, and she'd give a thoughtful response, and then the subsequent candidates asked the same question would say "I agree with HIllary?"

I think we're going to see some of that if we get a few debates--only HRC will be able to take it easy, and BS will be the one having to compose the long and thoughtful answers.

The GOP will spend their debate time screaming about Democrats, and the Democrats will spend their debate time talking about how to resolve issues that matter to this nation.

We will be able to get plenty of laughs from the Clown Car. I do not doubt for a moment Hillary would not be able to defend her record in debates. It will be a time to present issues and an agenda to accomplish the agenda.

HRC is not scared of Bernie and I suspect that she welcomes some primary competition and a chance to avoid people claiming that she is not tested or ready for a general election fight.
