Hillary Clinton
Related: About this forumTheres a post in GD-P about Clyburn will Endorse...
Hillary and it is by a Bernie supporter. In it she makes the case that Clyburn is under pressure (presumably by President Obama) to endorse Hillary and that he will do it as kind of a political payback for for getting "stuff" for his area.
My reply on the thread:
Of course people like Clyburn & John Lewis
people who really fought the fight for Civil Rights--would only endorse Hillary Clinton if they were bought and paid for according to some Bernie supporters.
(I can't believe the way some of Bernie's supporters are besmirching the integrity some of our greatest African-American leaders only because they did or may well endorse Hillary Clinton).

* may start using the asterisk when referring to Bernie and Democrat in the same comment

(3,825 posts)Seems they have forgotten just how godawful it really was. All three houses controlled by republicans will be a national nightmare, and it seems that their ideology comes first, and to hell with the rest. Well, ideology won't help the poor, it won't keep us out of wars, it won' put food on the table, or give people health care. Women's health, the right to vote for everyone, it will all just be a memory, Government for the corporations will rule and there will be no more middle class. We will truly have become a fascist/oligarchy. I don't want to have to tell them "I told you so.", but I fear for this country.
