I was Hillary Clintons Internet Director in 2008. I remember the flood of low-dollar donations to her campaign as soon as she was perceived as an underdog. I saw the massive surge in grassroots support, and the sudden realization among the commentariat that she was a fighter, a survivor.
Hillarys reputation was bolstered, not damaged by her defeat in 2008. Her detractors realized what shes made of and theyre going to learn the same lesson in 2016.
This is shaping up to be an exciting election and a scary one for Democrats with the rise of Donald Trump. The elite media are having a field day framing the race. Their glee at Hillarys New Hampshire loss and their silence about her historic Iowa victory is setting up a Hillary as underdog narrative.
Good luck to her opponents with that.
