Clinton Cash Crushed By Facts As Author Admits He Has No Evidence Of Clinton Crimes

When pressed by This Week’s George Stephanopoulos, Clinton Cash author Peter Schweizer admitted that he has no hard evidence to support his allegations.

STEPHANOPOULOS: Do you have any evidence that a crime may have been committed?

SCHWEIZER: Well, I think it’s — if you look at a couple of recent examples. For example, Governor McConnell down in Virginia, or you look at Senator Menendez, in these cases, you didn’t have evidence of a quid pro quo. What you had was funds flowing to elected officials, some of them gifts, some of them campaign contributions and actions that were being taken by those public officials that seemed to benefit the contributors.

Certainly, I think it warrants investigation. What that investigation will reveal, we’ll see.

1. The good thing about this fiasco

is that it occurred right at the beginning of Hillary's campaign and was so easily demolished. Its failure will color all further right-wing smears, and they will be presumed false from the outset. It will also make it harder for attacks coming from the alleged left to gain traction.

9. This does a few things. It throws the speculation out and without proof and it has

Allowed Media Matters to investigate and put the facts on the table debunking what Schweizer is supposed to be revealing in his book. He said he did not have proof so he fan say he did not lie, much. It is also out early enough the scandal can be put to bed soon. Schweizer is making money already on the book. It could also open the doors for Hillary to say, see I told you it wasn't true.

In the meantime Hillary can be on the road telling about her aspirations of completing while she is in office. More people will be listening when Hillary talks just to see if she addresses this issue.

It will also get attention of the far and against TPP so as to give the proper time needed to complete.

It got somebody on the Sunday shows besides McCain and Graham.
