Hillary Clinton
Related: About this forumI am truly fed up with
the B***S*** of some BS supporters. On the other hand, given that HRC supporters are overwhelmingly outnumbered here on DU, I am heartened that the vote was this close.
I sent an alert on an OP. I have never sent an alert before. There have been so many posts that I have trashed and so many of the truly nasty BS supporters that I have put on Ignore that I likely don't even see the worst of the worst anymore. But this OP was the final straw for me.
The Clinton Campaign is Disgusting

REASON FOR ALERT
This post is disruptive, hurtful, rude, insensitive, over-the-top, or otherwise inappropriate.
YOUR COMMENTS
The level of HATRED expressed on this website against HRC is absolutely appalling. This is the FIRST alert I have EVER sent. PLEASE!!
JURY RESULTS
A randomly-selected Jury of DU members completed their review of this alert at Thu Feb 11, 2016, 04:17 PM, and voted 3-4 to LEAVE IT ALONE.
Juror #1 voted to HIDE IT
Explanation: No explanation given
Juror #2 voted to HIDE IT
Explanation: The level of hatred is appalling. And the fact that certain posters usually get away with the hate. Let's hope not this time.
Juror #3 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE
Explanation: Just no.
Juror #4 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE
Explanation: No explanation given
Juror #5 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE
Explanation: It was true though. The Clinton campaign of 2008 had some quite racial overtones.
Juror #6 voted to HIDE IT
Explanation: This is pathetic and the level of vitriol and outright hate being spewed on this site whenever ones favorite candidate doesn't get an endorsement is gag inducing. This garbage deserves to be hidden.
Juror #7 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE
Explanation: No explanation given
Thank you.
Now they are trashing John Lewis - a true hero. This is absolutely outrageous on a site devoted to building up Democrats.

(14,400 posts)it should have been hidden. The asshole level on this site has risen dramatically since the primaries began. I hope it gets back to a more normal level after it's over. I've lost a lot of respect for a lot of people.

(1,968 posts)Given the actions of the Bros here and elsewhere, they're alienating more people than they're attracting. My husband was neutral with a Clinton lean; post his boss approaching him, he's now a strong Clinton supporter and dislikes Sanders.
Sometimes you can sit back and let your opponent completely screw up while you watch, pretending to be aghast while you're laughing hysterically behind the mask.

Although frankly, tonight's debate performance from Sanders was one where the guy has pretty much given up.
