That's in response to Sanders' latest criticism of President Obama

(15,951 posts)he has been an amazing president and the idea that he doesn't know what he is doing is outrageous.

(16,160 posts)But in the years since my respect for both President Obama and Secretary Clinton has skyrocketed. So glad they found a way to work together. Obama has been a fine POTUS and seems to be having a lot of fun with the job in his lame-duck years!

(1,053 posts)As heated as it got (in retrospect, it was nothing compared to now, as I remember it)
I was thrilled to have two wonderful candidates to chose from. I knew whichever lost
that year would be back for more, and I knew they would be just as wonderful...even
more so. After all, Hillary has come back with SoS experience to boot!
I'm proud of my party, warts and all, and when someone trashes it...
well, they're just asking for it.

(15,438 posts)chasm between Congress and the White House! President Obama has bent over backwards to accommodate the Republicans but they're not to be reasoned with. Surely Sanders saw that while mumbling as he walked through the halls of Congress?

(32,623 posts)Sanders has proven- we have proof! -he couldn't do as well, with the failure of that legislation.
It is a rw line that Obama didn't do enough ass kissing. Bernie's "plan" is all smoke and mirrors.

(23,690 posts)Asked if he believed President Obama had closed that gap, Sanders said: "No, I don't. I mean, I think he has made the effort. But I think what we need, when I talk about a political revolution, is bringing millions and millions of people into the political process in a way that does not exist right now."
President Obama brought millions and millions of people into the political process. If BS can't speak well of our transformational Democratic President, he should keep his mouth shut.
