six superdelegates to Sanders' zero. So although she got 9 from the voting, she's currently ahead on total pledged delegates.

The final total could be 15 each (24 voted, 6 super, 2 undeclared super for neither at this point). Or it could be 17-15 Clinton-Sanders.

Super delegates are not pledged delegates. Pledged delegates are those allocated based on the primary or caucus vote.

Superdelegates are UNpledged delegates (regardless of whether they have expressed who they currently intend to vote for) and remain so until the convention.

allocated during an election in addition to national party committee members and in the case of the Democratic Party, super delegates.

I guess having ones party behind them can be helpful?

Hillary Clinton is playing the primary game perfectly. She's learned a LOT from Senator Obama - and I can't wait for him to endorse her! He all but has, but it would be nice were it official. I know, I know, he can't step in at this point, but hopefully after she sweeps Nevada and South Carolina, he'll finally come out to endorse her officially. She's the only Democrat running! But we'll see.
