Hillary Clinton
Related: About this forumI was on the fence for a while
between Hillary and Bernie but I've become a firm Clinton supporter. I've never posted in a Group section here before and I only just found this one. What a breath of fresh air. I'm so tired of logging on here and seeing the negativity and bickering in the rest of the forum.
Go Hillary!

(15,372 posts)The posters here try to keep it classy, like our candidate!
The AA Forum is also a great forum for excellent discussion. GD-P and the DU Home page have become almost unbearable and look like Freeper Central.

(95 posts)I believe she's going to do much better here in New Hampshire than the polls are showing. Her ground game and ability to do retail politics, which really matters to us here in NH, is superior to her opponents. That's not a swipe, it's just an observable fact.
I too was on the fence between Bernie and Hillary, I like them both...but when I politely asked legitimate policy questions of Bernie supporters here and in person, or questioned the validity of statements about NH being made by non-NH supporters, I just got verbally or virtually stomped on for questioning "the Bern"...and blocked from several threads and forums on here! When I asked policy questions of Hillary supporters, I got answers...and lively polite debate...and thoughtful responses.
So today, I voted for Hillary Clinton in the first in the nation primary!

(4,302 posts)I only posted this about 2 hours ago and a Bernie supporter private messaged me to ask me why I chose Hillary, and wanted to talk to me about Bernie.
I don't think that's cool.

(1,968 posts)thanks.
There are several people who are blocked totally, or from sending me PMs. Somehow I must give the impression that I can be convinced. I cannot imagine why.
complain jane
(4,302 posts)But trolling a forum specifically for Hillary supporters to want to talk about a different candidate is just rude.

(31,237 posts)experience has been so much the better for it. If there was some mechanism by which I could turn off the Video section on the Latest page, it would be perfect.

(13,218 posts)But the Sanders' supporters made it extremely difficult to assess Bernie. Bernie cannot win the General, so, Hillary is an easy choice.

And my 89 year old mom who told me earlier that she was NOT going to vote for Hillary, seems to have changed her mind. And she was wowed by Hillary's speech. (not easy to wow my mom lol!)
