Hillary Clinton
Related: About this forumThe thing about Bernie is he hasn't yet been vetted by the media
Bernie people will say that isn't so but they can't have it two ways. They say the media ignores him and then they also say that the media attacks him. He hasn't been vetted yet. Look how they went after Obama after he emerged as a front runner in 2008--prior to that he was pretty much a media darling, too. Obama handled it well and kept going. But Bernie hasn't yet seen the cruel manipulation the media often does. In part that accounts for his strong positive ratings because he hasn't yet gotten the scrutiny and attacks that Hillary has--and has from the media for 25 years. Once the public at large finds out that he wants to hike Taxes to pay for huge social programs (some of which I even support) that will turn off the blue collar worker who works check by check and already feels that they pay too much for taxes. Bernie will be labeled another McGovern and Mondale--two good men--who also told the public they were going to raise taxes and paid for that by landslide losses. That's just one of the issues they will go after Bernie on.

Unions, Dems, and POC went for Hillary.. not the other guy.
A majority of Democratic caucus-goers, 55 percent, said the next president should generally follow Barack Obamas policies, rather than pursue more liberal or less liberal approaches. And those who lined up with Obama were an especially strong group for Clinton, 68-26 percent vs. Sanders.
LOve it!
"Finally in the Democratic contest theres the question of race. Whites accounted for 91 percent of Democratic caucus-goers a lot, even if low by Iowa Democratic caucus standards. Whites also dominate in New Hampshire. But they accounted for 65 percent of voters across all Democratic primaries in 2008. And among the 9 percent of non-white Democratic caucus-goers in Iowa on Monday, Clinton won by a wide margin, 58-34 percent."

You're right.. wait until they start tearing into him. right now he's their weapon against Hillary. Hillary's tough.. she'll take them all on.
Walk away
(9,494 posts)Super Tuesday will turn him into a big disappointment to his fanatical followers. Fanatics usually turn on their fallen idols. Poor Sanders.
Thinkingabout
(30,058 posts)RW talking points which have gone on for years. Nothing new here, the GOP does not have a candidate as qualified as Hillary and this is something they know. I am going to try to find the article of the GOP plans for Sanders sometime today, got other pressing issues at the moment. It is not going to be nice on Sanders.
