Hillary Clinton
Related: About this forumAt one time, you could trust what was posted on DU to be solid
If it wasn't it would get ripped to shreds in a matter of minutes.
Even in the decisive campaigns on 2008 and 2012 and other times, it was fairly well trustworthy information posted on DU. The last several months it has become a big propaganda machine and you can't trust most of what is posted. The integrity is gone.
I post this here because anywhere else the parties that have polluted this discussion board would attack it as they do.
Rant off!

(22,163 posts)my news. I liked that you couldn't just post any old thing, there needed to be a link to a trusted source.
This is the worse I have seen it.

(10,175 posts)Can Skinner afford to be as hard on Bernie followers who decline to support the Dem candidate as he was on PUMAs in 08? DU overwhelmingly supported Obama in 08 so the loss of a bunch of Clinton supporters was no big deal, but Bernie supporters are a big majority now. Can DU stay democratic?

(15,859 posts)But I always opt out of juries in the Clinton room out of respect. Looks like you survived. Good jury.

(10,237 posts)...how this site has become "BernieUnderground" with an apparent litmus test of blind loyalty to a candidate who is NOT a Democrat but who IS benefitting from a boatload of right wing/Republican/teabagger PACs spending a boatload of money on his behalf trying to secure the nomination for the weakest potential candidate in 40+ years!
I anticipate an alert & hide for this post. Expression of free opinion is apparently no longer a desired commodity here.
PEACE!

(10,847 posts)Bernie will drop out in a few months and throw support behind Clinton. Heads will explode here but so be it. Then, we will deal with a few weeks of Clinton-hate until the nasties are thrown out.
William769
(55,147 posts)Sanders will not do that. You can take that to the bank.

(22,757 posts)I actually will be happy with either Hillary or Bernie but feel right now Hillary would be best person for President. My fear is that the hate towards Hillary (in trying to defend Bernie) has become so strong that should he lose, otherwise good Democrats will sit it out
right now, we all need to be looking to put Democrats into all offices... the President does little on his/her own

(15,951 posts)they are very left leaning liberals or progressives of the type who don't care that voting for Ralph Nader in 2000 helped George W. Bush. It doesn't matter because Gore wasn't pure enough for them--and by golly it was more important to make a statement than vote for Gore. I'm certainly not saying this of all of Bernie's supporters here but I do believe that it is a significant number.

(68,867 posts)They ain't voting if it ain't their man on the ballot....
or they use it as a bludgeon.....if one says the wrong thing.
It's hard to take, because it shows where some of their priorities lie....
and it ain't about who's gonna have a GOP Trifecta if we lose!
IN reference to that, the attitude is that will teach us all a good lesson!
So you can't reason with that kind of mentality, IMO.
