Apparently he didn't care for the Presidents statement, so he attacks.

(44,183 posts)HRC attacked his record on gun control tonight on MSNBC Hardball via telephone.
Sander's tweet is a response to that phone call, and is reproducing mailers HRC sent out in 2008.
Just want to clear up context.
That being said, I think the tweet is a mis-step. Probably more "strategy" from the Tad Devine types.

(1,307 posts)Attacking a sitting Democratic president is just more proof he is not a Democrat.

(4,008 posts)He lost me to ever vote for him on that several years ago.
And I strongly feel that way and a lot of local dems in my county feel the same way.
I wish she would bring that up at some point and let him squirm out of that statement

President Obama and Hillary are friends now.. they came together for the very much good of our country.

(3,649 posts)the ad Bernie posted was from Hillary's 2008 campaign? It's an ad she ran against Obama.

(297,655 posts)And, that was then .. this is now.. BS needs to keep up.
President Obama and SOS Hillary are great friends now.. the attempt at shite stirring is not working.

(3,649 posts)A lot of posts here seem to indicate that Bernie is attacking Obama, which of course is just not true. I never post in the Hillary ground. In fact, this is my first one. I only did it to clarify the issue.

(2,034 posts)and his one issue stance is a turn off for me. I can't support a candidate that can't be diverse in the issues and I can't support a candidate that is not a democrat

(9,070 posts)First, you piss off the DNC, virtually all of the Democrats in Congress, and the DNC Chair.
Then, when you're behind with the unions, the polls, the money, and endorsements - you go after the current President.
Maybe Bernie knows that he is just a sparring partner, so he doesn't care?!
Maybe Bernie is just not very bright?
