I seriously cannot fucking stand it anymore.

The smears, the innuendo, the half-truths and quarter-truths and straight-up no truths are part and parcel of electoral politics, but comparing her to Margaret motherfucking Thatcher is where I have to draw the fucking line.

And they don't even have the decency to e ashamed of saying it! They're doubling down on a cocktail of sexism and pig-ignorance the likes of which I've never seen outside of a GOP debate. They actually think they're helping Sanders, who I honestly believe is a thousand times more decent than his fanbase.

So here I am in the Hillary group, where I promised myself I wouldn't go. Just needed to breath some non-poisonous air, I guess.

What a bizarre conclusion.

As for "dividing" us. I posted once in the Bernie group, a laughing emoticon and I was banned after the first post. Groups are for supporters. I actually knew I would get banned from there because I know how these things work, but you evidently think you should be able to blame everything on Clinton and her supporters right in the HRC group. In addition to violating the SOP of the group, it is entirely illogical.

Last night it was suggested on this board that Hillary destroyed the Dem brand when she was FLOTUS and was personally responsible for Speaker Gingrich. Absurd, right? Gave me the chance to revisit the Harry and Louise ad, and the Contract on America, not that the points made any difference.

I'm sure progressive, liberal Democrats can see through the rightwing, misogynistic Hillary-Hater disrupting posts and comments.

She wins some and loses some, but she always gets back up to fight another day. She is not as pristine as Sanders, but that is because she is more accomplished and experienced. Democracy is messy and involves compromise. People who win elections and get stuff done are never going to come out looking perfect. And things are fixing' to get really messy on the international stage. Not sure if I an ideologue with no foreign policy experience is the best choice right now.

There is something throwback and paternalistic about Sanders. He started his campaign with no women and (could be wrong, I didn't look at all the pictures) no minorities on his campaign staff. But we all need to sit down, shut up and listen because daddy Sanders knows what is best for all of us. I dunno, to me that is talking the talk, but not walking the walk. Economic progressivism is only part of the picture.

Waaaaay back in the spring, I came here to lurk a bit. Hadn't even decided who I liked in the primary yet. And then my head exploded when I read a pro-Sanders thread that said if you didn't support Sanders you could not call yourself a real liberal. It was just so ignorant, pointless and divisive. Last go round I knew many, many liberal activists who supported Clinton. People with total credibility who put hours and hours of volunteer work into liberal causes. And some ignorant internet warrior, probably never knocked a door, dialed a phone, or even voted in a primary before, is here as the liberal gate keeper. Bite me.

It gets so annoying, the endless propaganda. It is BORING. I am BORED and ANNOYED by Bernie Sanders, a candidate I mostly agree with, thanks to his clueless supporters. I want to have some sort of substantive discussion about something other than how Bernie is soooooo super-awesome and badazzzz. And about how it is CLEAR that anyone who does not agree with their opinion is an idiot (they have PROOF!), or not liberal enough of some shit. I tore into a Facebook friend for posting misleading and stupid pro-Sanders polling info that was actually spin by some b-team, wannabe GOP operatives. But it was pro-Sanders and anti-Clinton, so he posted it right up. I was on Twitter today, trying to figure out what was going on in Minneapolis because there was nothing in the mainstream press, and they are spamming the BLM hashtags with non-sequitur posts about their candidate. I guess they think this is helping with his image problem in the black community? No, it is not. Making an activist/breaking news hashtag about black protesters getting shot in front of a police station by a couple of white guys in ski-masks about YOU and YOUR candidate is not helping. It is myopic, self centered and BORING. You know what helps a candidate? Work. Get on the phones, knock some doors, have a house party. Get off the inter webs and do some damn work (AND GET OFF MY LAWN WHILE YOU ARE AT IT) :shakescane:

I miss posting at DU. I don't have a huge post count, but I keep my star current. I usually post a bunch during elections or big national stories. Would love to talk about Syria, but the top three are four stories on the Greatest are about someone named Killer Mike introducing Sanders at a rally and one about how suck Hillary Clinton supporters are. Sigh. I guess I need to stick to LBN.

is spread to the interweb by paid GOP trolls. We know they pushed the 'never vote for Hillary' stance on the DU a few months back. Then when we pushed back as Hillary supporters who promised to vote for Bernie if he wins.. they were apoplectic. Hillary stood her ground brilliantly (and stuck with reality which the GOP hates) during the Benghazi hearings and we had a very, very quiet time for weeks after. I'm guessing the GOP didn't want Democrats getting some practice in standing up for Hillary and remembering her eating gop's lunch on that great Benghazi hearing day, lest it sink in to a really deep feeling of respect for her as an unflappable leader. A deep feeling that would be hard to unseat. No horrid Clinton slurs for 3 weeks.. I say we, democrats who support Hillary, should trumpet our horns and say Hillary was brilliant during the Benghazi hearings. Benghazi Benghazi Benghazi. She owns the word now. Benghazi Benghazi Benghazi for Hillary. Benghazi.
