1. Aaahhhh... I am so jealous.

I have moved to a smallish town in a red state and won't get to house anyone this year. It will be the first time that I have not provided housing, washer and dryer, well stocked refrigerator and bar for at least one excited young staffer since 1992.

Every time I see your posts, I get a little nostalgic. I knew Ann Richards - just as an acquaintance as we had several friends in common. I loved Ann Richards! I miss that woman! She was amazing. Raw and real and down-to-earth, not afraid to expose her flaws, and not afraid to stand up to the "good ole boys"! So this doesn't have anything to do with this post, other than I think "our"
Ann would definitely embrace Hillary Clinton as our first woman president of the United States!
