Maybe I'm crazy...

I tried, I mean I really tried to have a conversation about the two emails out of 20,000 that seem to have lit up the various forums round here - but apparently that's just not possible. Maybe I'm just insensitive - but I've been a boss of a reasonably big organization and I know what it's like. People email you all sorts of irrational shit. People that you think would know better. But they're just human - so in the heat of the moment they send you stuff. Stuff you know doesn't really represent their best nature. Stuff that on their best days they would never dream of sending you. So you take a breath and you don't over-react to their overreaction. Hopefully, when they calm down you can deal with it. As long as it's just thoughts shared with you - you have that luxury to let them blow off steam.

I have yet to see anything that proves that irreprable harm was done by the DNC to the Sanders campaign. I have yet to see anything that proves anyone's rights were violated. I have yet to see anything that proves the wrong person won the primaries. Were people less than perfect on both sides? You bet - because they are human.

Apparently being less than perfect is unforgivable around here.

I'm surprised it wasn't worse. Many had much harsher words for Bernie throughout the campaign and they weren't even the ones he was tearing down. The Dems were remarkably well behaved under the circumstance and the fury of what was said in a few emails should be nothing compared to the HACKING done by Putin, et al.

Reminds me of the film Casablanca. "I'm shocked - shocked I say to discover gambling is going on at Rick's Cafe American! Round up the usual suspects."

Here's a little observation: look at all the DWS "outrage" threads and see how many are started and contributed to by people still flying lots of BS flags... It's just an observation mind you.

Some really are still obsessed with the primary. It's sad.

There was a Bernie march today in Philadelphia and many claimed that Hillary should be in prison.

Truly heavy sigh.

is that the ones who sought to use religion and/or the practice of religion against him, need to be taken to task. DWS, if she knew what was going on, needs to be taken to task.

One thing this wikileaks shit did show, is that it was NOT HRC, which we all already knew.

Plus, the fact that it was Russian hackers, and Putin wants to try and influence our election, cannot be allowed.

In the heat of passion perfectly reasonable and in fact decent people will write the craziest shit you have ever read. I know it because I've read it. In the vast majority of cases it never gets further than the initial venting of the spleen. We are all prone to these irrational thoughts - especially in the heat of the moment. Now if it goes further - into some sort of action - something absolutely must be done. But I am not in favor of thought police dropping the hammer on people as long as it's an isolated incident and as long as it goes no further.

I suspect we would also find the the same sort of crazy irrational stuff written by underlings in the Sanders campaign were 20,000 of those emails to be leaked. Not because any of them are necessarily bad people but because none of us lives up to our better angels each and every moment of each and every day.

with the system in order to hurt his chances. Whether or not the e-mails ultimately changed the outcome of the primary isn't completely relevant. Its the intent that's the problem.

out of 20,000. Neither of them written by or addressed to DWS. To date no one has been able to show concrete proof that any actions were taken. There is no concrete evidence that the primary system was tampered with. There is no concrete evidence that Sen. Sanders rights were violated. There is no concrete evidence that the wrong person won the Primaries.

To a degree this all smacks of confirmation bias.

That's all you have to say. Or you can complain that there are super delegates. But, but, but since 1986 Super delegates have been part of the Democratic Party nominating process in one form or another. Surely Sen Sanders (an Independent and still registered as an IND)knew this when he asked to be included in the Democratic Party Primary. In fact one of Bernie chief campaign advisors is none other than Tad Devine who had a big role in reshaping the Super Delegate process.

Or OMG the debate schedule was skewed toward Hillary. So they freaking changed it and added more than the Republicans had so at the end there was hardly any audience. But still it was rigged, a deliberate slight at Bernie even though the schedule had been set before Bernie entered the race.

Then there are the primaries. Bernie Sanders wanted open Democratic primaries.
Hey, they're called "Democratic" Primaries because DEMOCRATS GET TO VOTE FOR WHO THEY WANT TO BE THEIR DEMOCRATIC NOMINEE!. We don't want republican, or so called Independents, who are probably Republicans, having a say in our selection for a presidential nominee. Why is that so hard to understand or accept? Besides, the DNC has no say in that matter. It's a state party level decision.

I am just so over this whole Bernie Sanders crap. I've held my tongue lately hoping that with Bernie endorsing HRC, his army of disgruntled has beens, would shut the F up. But after watching some of the coverage today, and reading some of the slimey, hateful comments about DWS (who I'll admit I was never fond of) and this ridiculous email "scandal", my patience wore thin.

So the final straw, Bernie FINALLY gets rid of Debbie Wasserman Schultz, he has been after her skin since forever. I really do believe he has a problem with strong women, and he finally got to show her who's boss.
