(1,151 posts)People who are populist on economic issues and relatively conservative in social issues (maybe not as racist/sexist as Trump but enough that his racism/sexism aren't dealbreakers). Those are probably where his big margins in places like Alaska, Nebraska and Oklahoma are coming from. Trump is a clear second best to Sanders over Hillary given that Trump is trying to run as an economic populist.

(8,000 posts)would never vote for Trump. That said, I doubt a lot of the younger voters know much about what either candidate represents. Bernie is the Pied Piper and Trump is the Snake Oil Salesman. Both can win over those who only look at memes on Facebook.
