Hillary Clinton
Related: About this forumAP delegate count as of tonight:
Clinton 1,769 + 543 = 2,312
Sanders 1,501 + 44 = 1,545
Clinton need only 71 more to 2,383 and Sanders lost ANOTHER superdelegate, he had 45 yesterday!

(4,787 posts)perhaps you might spin this yarn in GD-BS.
When the vote total needed to achieve nomination includes super-delegates, relying on their vote as part of one's path isn't weak. It's common sense.
BTW There are 4,051 pledged delegates this year: therefore, a majority of that category of votes is 2,026.
Hillary Clinton has already won 1,769 of the pledged delegates. She needs a mere 257 votes, approximately 35%, of the remaining 781 votes to achieve the majority of pledged delegates. By next Tuesday evening, she will have gained that majority, along with super-majority of the super-delegates, and the majority (by millions worth) of the voters in the primaries. A trifecta.
No effort to dismiss that accomplishment, by trying the 'some votes are better than others' gambit, can overcome arithmetic.
