Hillary Clinton Room Post-Supporters say Clinton developing smarter, more relevant campaign for 2016

Hillary Clinton Room Post

Anne Gearan

In the last weeks before her expected entry into the 2016 presidential contest, Hillary Rodham Clinton is assembling a heavily research-driven campaign designed to prevent a repeat of her poor performance in 2008.

Clinton still faces many of the same challenges she had seven years ago, when she went from being a juggernaut and most likely the first female president in American history to a perceived stumblebum out of touch with the political moment. A campaign that seemed invincible became known for strategic blunders, an off-putting air of entitlement and infighting among an insular and sometimes inexperienced group of aides.

He was just such a good orator, seemed to offer change, etc. It made her mistakes magnified. IMO

The only thing I can remember that they differed on was whether there should be a mandate for health insurance (they both agreed to a private insurance based healthcare reform act). And then Obama ended up agreeing with Hillary that a mandate was necessary and it was of course included in his ACA.

Who has followed security in the past years. Her vote on Iraq was giving Bush the go ahead after all avenues was exhausted but with Bush's desire to invade Iraq before he was president and he railed about WND's and he knew there was not going to be any found so he jumped the gun and invaded.
For those hunting something to trash Hillary it is a good lie they can jump and shout about.

It is important the president be able to be briefed by a security and make the right decision and not be tied to catering to an anti action base. We will have a decision maker with Hillary.
