Let’s blow up the Democrats: The Sanders coalition is the future — but requires a third party
PAUL BLEST

The idea that Bernie Sanders might mount a third-party or independent run has little basis in reality. Sanders himself has said as much. He’d have to fight a legal battle to gain access to the ballot in “sore loser” states or others that throw up barriers to third-party runs. And seeing how the Naderification of Sanders has already begun, it’s hard to see what benefit there is to Sanders to split the Democratic vote and help elect Donald Trump.

Even the republicans. I think I heard where a couple of states deadline has already passed on getting in for a third party run. Soon and very soon the primaries will be over, Hillary will take California and NJ and there will not be a doubt who the nominee will be because Hillary will have a clear majority of the delegates. We have a GE to win, together we can do this.

It's nice to have a friend who shares your interests. Like burning down the country to "save" it.

Now, keep in mind, when anti-Clintonites see stuff like this, they will cite Salon's employment of one single woman as evidence that the site is "fair and balanced," if not "completely pro-Clinton."

Amanda Marcotte

Which if you stop and think about is basically like saying that one woman is equal to nine men., and that's actually a very progressive argument, even if it's by accident and not intent!

Poor Salon. Doubled down and lost everything...

He could just as well have "Bernie Bro" stamped on his forehead, though I think his Sanders support is feigned. Barely a year ago, he was plugging Rand Paul, of all people. Now, he's just a scorched earth idiot.
