A larger concern, Mr. Frank added, is that Mr. Sanders, by arguing the convention committees are tilted in Mrs. Clintons favor, is unfairly feeding perceptions that he is being robbed of the nomination.
Barney Frank: What troubles me is that he and some of his people are trying to build a story that when he doesnt get the nomination that he was somehow unfairly deprived of it, Mr. Frank said. Its nonsense. Shes got more pledged delegates, shes won more contests and she has millions of more votes.
This way-too-long race has taken yet an even more unexpected turn.
Team Sanders had their lawyer write up a 4-page letter that asked for the removal and disqualification of Standing Rules committee chair Barney Frank and Connecticut Governor Dan Malloy, chair of the Platform committee. Why? Because they were both critical of Bernie Sanders. They even went as far as bringing up criticism Barney Frank leveled at Bernie Sanders all the way back in 1991, 25 years ago.
.Although she got .... more pledged delegates, shes won more contests and she has millions of more votes.hurry up June 7.....Hillary 2016

(12,448 posts)The voters robbed him of what he thinks of as his right to the Democratic nomination. He's not a Democrat, of course, but whatever.
This man pisses me off.

................What entitlement looks like:
Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders told The Young Turks news show Friday that Clinton would need to choose a running mate who isn't from Wall Street and has a "track record of standing up for working families" if she wins the nomination.

(3,284 posts)Has he ever made this much of a stink about any real issues, or is his passion just limited to anything that furthers his "rock-star" standing? I wish he'd put this much energy into fighting for women's rights, civil rights or, hell, even income inequality. It seems to be all about Bernie and whoever's standing in his way, not about making the process more democratic. If he really cared about "democracy", he'd be pointing out that caucuses are undemocratic, too.
