Hillary Clinton
Related: About this forumHey, guess what? The SCOTUS doesn't have anything to do with challenges to Roe v. Wade
It's all up to the governor!
"I don't care who they appoint....it's your Governor that matters there!"

(25,471 posts)thinking anymore. I think it's all just stimulus and response for some of them. Hillary! Ahhhhhhhhhh!
I mean, is it possible the guy -with 3000+ posts on DU, I might add - really doesn't know that Roe v. Wade was a Supreme Court decision so the makeup of the SC might, you know...matter?
I suppose it's theoretically possible.
Well...no.

(1,512 posts)... that many of these posters are young people who didn't get the benefit of a good education (I'm 49, and we did an entire year of civics/government in 9th grade). I have no idea whether they teach any of this stuff anymore.
TwilightZone
(25,471 posts)It's easier to stick to a story or a version of events if one ignores any new evidence that becomes available that contradicts the original. Nevada is a perfect example.
Even Sanders is playing dumb. I can still get the majority of pledged delegates! Uh, huh.

(1,512 posts)... is demonstrating in real time the fact that human nature dooms communism to be a failed ideology. The leaders (naturally) grow to like their power, and they don't want to give it up, even at great cost.

(25,471 posts)He spent 25 years in Congress basically tilting at windmills, and people suddenly think he can lead a revolution. The only person less likely to lead one was Ron Paul, who's now shilling financial DVDs on TV.
He's really not even a socialist, certainly not in the European sense. Political Compass calls him a centrist and a militarist. His supporters always miss that when they post that silly graph about how far right Hillary is.

(25,471 posts)And, yet, 3000+ posts. This guy is a poster child for what's wrong with DU.

(38,458 posts)and they attack using support for Sanders as a portal if you will.
Note to real Sanders supporters: I don't mean you.

(1,512 posts)... no freeper would have made it past 50 posts. We used to actively root them out as a community. Ah the good old days...

(25,471 posts)A couple of the trolls who seemed rather obvious then - and are still sowing the seeds of division now - are still here and now have 100k+ and 150k+ posts. They're both what would politely be called anti-Dems. That never seems to go out of style here.
It's also getting harder to tell the trolls apart from the allegedly legit DUers. As I've joked in other threads, Poe's law needs a liberal corollary.

(1,512 posts)After the 2004 election debacle I just lost a lot of my will to even think about politics for a while, but I read the front page and LBN daily. Hillary has gotten me energized again. And I'm pretty sure I know which posters you are referring to.

I do think we have a lot of freepers posting non-stop and sewing seeds of stupidity. I worry about those who buy the baloney.
